I began White’s Photography in February of 1966, just a few months before my wife, Brenda and I married. Now, all these years later, we still work together every day.
Until they were grown, our two daughters, Tammy and Heidi, were right by our side here at the studio. Today, Tammy is married to Kirby and lives in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area with their two children. Heidi is now married to Jason, has her Doctorate in Family Studies and teaches at Abilene Christian University. They have three children.
I was trained at the Winona School of Professional Photography and in numerous post-graduate courses.
For many years I have taught photography to amateurs, professionals and aspiring professionals. I teach several Basic Photography classes each year , as well as Lightroom, Photoshop, Portraiture and other classes – both in groups and one-on-one. Brenda and I are members of the Church of Christ. For more 30 years I have done premarital, marital and family counseling as an unpaid ministry, and am a Certified Biblical Counselor and a Certified Prepare/Enrich counselor. In addition to our photography, we enjoy boating and camping, frequently in conjunction with our passion for working with young people at church. And, we love to travel.
General Policies
We strive to treat our customers like we would want to be treated. For that reason, in over 50 years of business we have almost always pleased our customers. If a customer is dissatisfied we do our best to resolve the problem so that there is a “win-win” outcome.
Obviously, photography is a custom-made product that cannot be returned to the shelf and sold to another customer. Consequently, we do not offer refunds. However, we want happy customers and will do anything within reason to make them happy.
Our Policy On Deposits - Including Advance Payments
When deposits, including advance payments are accepted it is to guarantee that a client will follow through with their commitment. Consequently, deposits and advance payments are generally not refundable or transferable.
However, for weddings that are postponed, at our sole discretion, we may allow the deposit or advance payment to be applied to a future wedding date – if that future date is available on our calendar.
Our Policy On Copy & Restoration Work
We copy and restore photos, paintings and other originals that are in a wide range of conditions. We do the best we can to restore the copies to their original condition, or even better. However, we are not miracle workers. Consequently, our only guarantee is that we will do our best, but do not offer refunds.
Our Privacy Policy
We do not sell or give our customer’s private information to anyone. We retain copyrights to images we make and may display them as examples of our work. Proofs are routinely displayed online for public viewing and ordering, unless the customer requests that they be password protected. We do not track your online activity.
